We (Claire & Phil) have just completed a course organised by the RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) and are delighted to announce that after extensive training and 2 written exams, we are now qualified operators and attendants of children's inflatable play equipment and passed their exams with a 100% pass mark.
The course involves all aspects of safe set up and operation which to us at Claire's Castles is of paramount importance.
Therefore we are now qualified as ‘Operator and Attendant's of Children’s Inflatable Play Equipment’.
This is a new course in the industry (and not a legal requirement) and currently the only recognised qualification within the industry for operators of Inflatable play equipment.
As it stands we are currently only 1 of 2 operators in the Cornwall area to have this RPII certification but we have highly recommend our competitors will consider taking this course to help improve inflatable equipment safety in Cornwall for everyone.
The RPII are recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) of England. The HSE oversee the regulation of BSEN:14960 2013 which is the standard we hirers have to work to and have our inflatables annually tested to this standard.
